What is DCD?
Developmental Coordination Disorder (often known as dyspraxia) is the delay in the development of motor skills, both gross motor (whole body) and fine motor (using hands) skills. Children with DCD often appear clumsy and can have difficulties with performing new actions, ball skills, balance, handwriting and using cutlery.
What does the DCD group involve?
Each child will be provided a resource pack including: theraputty and activity suggestions to continue at home.
2 hour group sessions.
Home programme with equipment provided
Sessions will be run in small groups 2 hour review of progress group
